PIPE WELDER /FITTER /FABRICATOR

Engineering Systems & Projects requires an experienced and dynamic individual to join a team of Engineers working on manufacturing/industrial based engineering projects; at least three years relevant work experience essential; qualified to minimum ONC/NVQ level; good communication and general fabrication skills required; must be a team player with good organisational and proven technical skills, able to provide high quality work.

The position requires an in depth knowledge of mechanical pipe work installation on both industrial process plant and filling and packing machinery. Coding would be advantageous.

The position is based in various industrial plants in the Suffolk area.

Salary – Rates apply relating to experience/qualifications

Hours to be worked – 37.5 – 40 hours flat rate

Overtime rate 1 - 1.5 x flat rate, Overtime rate 2 – 2 x flat rate

25 days paid vacation per annum

Start Date – ASAP

Duration – 6 months minimum – Permanent following probation period.

Engineering Systems & Projects Ltd, requires an EIC Design Engineer with Filling & Packaging and/or Chemical/Process industry experience to fulfill this interesting and varied position. This is a salaried role within the project engineering department and as such is a direct report to the Project Management team within ESP Ltd.

 

To work within the projects team and to perform the following role/roles:-

 

* Detailed design of control/electrical systems including selection of

   equipment, generation of schematics, cable schedules & electrical 

   calculations. Electrical control panel layout / design.

* The use of AutoCAD and Possibly Solid Works as a design/drafting tool.

* Selection and configuration of process instrumentation, sensors,

  weighing systems etc.

* Development and Programming various manufacturers PLC’s, HMI’s and

  SCADA.

* Produce project related documentation using various IT packages

  including Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.

* Direct involvement in control panel design, build and testing.

* On-site commissioning of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation systems

* Well system visits of commissioned sites.

* Involvement in the budgeting and estimation process

* Assist in the CE Marking assessment using Laidler/Sistema Software and

  produce supporting documentation.

* Functional Safety system design to include interlocks / guarding / trip

  systems - designing to IEC61508, Machinery & Low Voltage directives

* Design of systems compliant with ATEX Regulations - COMPEX certified

 

Full training will be provided to allow the person fulfilling this role to progress to fully functioning engineer status. Due to this being a multi-faceted role it is expected that the individual would adopt a Multiskilled and team oriented attitude in keeping with the current projects department within ESP.

ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENTATION

& CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION ENGINEER

Established Process Engineering Company requires an experienced and dynamic individual to join a team of Engineers working on a wide range of manufacturing and industrial based engineering projects; at least three years’ relevant work experience essential.

Qualifications: -

* City and Guilds Electrical Installation,

* NVQ level 3

* 2382 17th Edition IEE regs.

* COMPEX would be an advantage

* Testing and inspection 2391/2394/2395 would be an advantage.

* JIB / CSCS card

The position requires: -

* An in depth knowledge of electrical installation on both industrial and process plant including filling and packing machinery.

* To be a team player but with the ability to work on their own when

   required.

* Good organisational and proven technical skills with the ability to

   provide high quality work.

* The ability to read and understand schematic drawings

* The ability to carry out fault finding within control panels and field

   installations.

* Good communication and IT skills

The position is based on various industrial plants both local and national.

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (3D)

Position: Mechanical Designer Engineer (3D, Process /Filling /Packaging)

Location: Bury St. Edmunds

The Position:

Due to the unprecedented expansion of this extremely successful company based in Bury St. Edmunds, Engineering Systems & Projects Ltd, urgently requires a Mechanical Design Engineer with Chemical/Process industry experience to fulfill this interesting and varied position.

You:

 

You are likely to have either a HNC or an Engineering Degree and fully proficient in the use of AutoCAD / Solid Works 3D CAD. Minimum of 2 years’ mechanical process design experience in Food, Beverage and / or chemical industry where you will be used to preparing process designs & layouts for pumps, valves, tanks & pipework systems, vessel supports, structural steelwork etc. Filling/Packaging design experience is an added advantage.
